A Day on Skates

[tabs style=”default”] [tab title=”Summary“]

Teacher has decided to take his class on a skating trip to a nearby town.  The day turns out to be more adventurous than he planned, though, as the children find their way into and out of more than a few precarious situations.

How can one not love a classic? Teacher doesn’t quite know what he’s getting into when he promises the school a skating picnic.  A few of the boys find a way into mischief, but their morality is never in question.  My children loved the story and clamored for more at the end of each (short) chapter.
